Point is sometimes there seems like there were better times in the past and there is nothing but gloom and doom ahead. In all honesty I have a hard time seeing how the American Empire is going to dig itself out of the mess it is in. But that's the fun factor. I'm curious as to what'll happen in the next 40 years.
USA is at a time in history where tea party and such are waxing poetic about founding fathers in revolutionary costume. Of course such romantic visions ignore the social and economic realities. Heck, the reality is that the founding fathers were traitors plain and simple.
