Two Tea Parties

Now that the Tea Party has taken the plunge to support racism in Arizona, the Party will have the obligatory split over policy. I see a division into two distinct Tea Parties: one of them based on black tea and the other based on green tea. The black Tea Party would continue to support racism (black represents the color of their heart). The green Tea Party will favor a more rational, natural approach to immigration.

What is your opinion of these two parties within the Party? Which other policy divisions can we look forward to?

I'm glad your reading comprehension levels remain the same.

the majority of the people who support the law

This ain't rocket science here, buddy.

Sorry, you fail too.

[identity profile] dwer.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I know you won't ever change. Rock doesn't evolve.

[identity profile] 404.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm glad you have so much to offer, do please keep it up.

[identity profile] futurebird.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Considering that you are just telling people that they "fail" (as if your word counted for anything on it's own) I think it is pretty ironic you'd make a remark like this. Come back when you have some substance to your arguments.

[identity profile] 404.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
You do as well, since you have gained the ability to channel the inner thoughts over every person who supports the AZ bill.

[identity profile] dwer.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
it's funny because while Futurebird suggests that there's evidence to back up her assertion, you don't.

Never said I did. I am merely pointing out that she can't speak for the majority that does.

here's a little... now your turn

"Obviously not," Brewer replied. "You know Arizona has been under terrorist attacks, if you will, with all of this illegal immigration that has been taking place on our very porous border. […] The whole issue comes back, that we do not and will not tolerate illegal immigration bringing with it very much so the implications of crime and terrorism into our state."

Republican governor, Jan Brewer

This is hyperbole.

Rep. Pearce, R-Mesa, said during an interview on “Morning Edition” on KJZZ (91.5 FM) that he would support bringing back a controversial federal program dubbed “Operation Wetback,” which was designed to apprehend and deport illegal Mexican immigrants in the mid-1950s.

“We know what we need to do,” Pearce said on the radio show. “In 1953, Dwight D. Eisenhower put together a task force called ‘Operation Wetback.’ He removed, in less than a year, 1.3 million illegal aliens. They must be deported.”

State Rep. Russell Pearce (Who introduced the bill)

The bill was written by Kris Kobach, he thinks that today's immigrants will "divide the United States into two peoples, two cultures, two languages."

It's not hyperbole. Have you even looked at how much the crime rate (and just random crimes but kidnappings and murders) has risen in AZ in the past couple years, most of which is due to the illegals?

[identity profile] dwer.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Who's offering you anything?

[identity profile] 404.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I see you are her to be the little self-important partisan dog who yips at the slightest noise and then promptly craps on the floor.

[identity profile] dwer.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
it's funny because I'm over here, and you're looking in the mirror.

[identity profile] 404.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. Whatever you say boss.

[identity profile] futurebird.livejournal.com 2010-05-17 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, that was really mean, I bet you thought you were going to hurt dwer's feelings BAD with that one... I mean seriously, can we have a conversation instead of tossing insults around? I find the latter boring.

This is now not an insult.
