Place like Intel don't use much land in its native country. Materials to make the parts are mined, processed, and put together in third-world countries who are less concerned with the value of the land they despoil than with making enough cashola to make the jump to not being third-world countries. Lotta land in the US lies fallow now. While I advocate sticking it to Con-Agra on general principle, I don't think they can support the US by themselves.
