2010 Talk Politics Census

In the US the 2010 Census is underway. I thought it would be informative to do a census here as well. I'm going to use the exact same questions the the US census uses. I recognize that there are many arguments about why these questions are flawed. I think that answering the question could be a jumping off point for talking about those flaws. It is very quaint that the Census is still done on paper-- that is probably best since the digital divide remains wide. Collecting data in the same way for over 200 years has provided the US with a very reliable if incomplete picture of the people-- changing methods and questions now would pose risks. But, we must continue to evolve and change the questions to match the changing face of this country.
