Yeah, seconded here. Offing the guy immediately while his own troops were still hanging around together outside Moscow would have just been stupid. Instead he got Prigozhin to willingly disperse them, even get them out of Russia entirely. And then he blasted him to hell. This is not the weakness of an old tyrant, it's the wisdom of one.
