Sovereign citizen groups of one sort or another have been around for quite a while, but they usually only pop up in the mainstream news as a sort of comic relief. People really need to start taking them seriously. It's really only a matter of time before one of these groups of idiots decides they're justified in killing people over their imaginary right to travel or their interpretation of the Articles of Confederation or the Magna Carta or some other such bullshit.
