Today in 'Someone literally got paid for this bullshit and I keep wanting to know how I could get into that racket', someone at Bloomberg decided in their infinite wisdom to tackle the topic of demographic shifts by writing 'Won't anyone think of the poor Neverborn?'
 
People who never existed, never would have existed, and who don't even exist in a vague hypothetical senses are invoked for sympathy as  a 'forgotten' class.

Someone literally came up with the idea, got it past editorial, and got paid money to write an article that stands as one of the exemplars in ginning up a humbug of a story that wasted the time, brain cells, and efforts of the people who went through each and every stage of the process.

It's stories like this that take the somewhat easy impulse on the part of a great many to distrust media and reporters and gift-wrap the excuses to do so and deliver them on a silver platter.

There is absurdity, and then there's what went into this.

Not nearly as many as I'm going to put into trying to get on this gravy train. I'm thinking the neverborn need an advocacy group. I can also say without fear of contradiction that they would want me to run it. I have not-fathered a number of neverborn, so I have a close, personal connection with this issue which I just heard about.
