Many countries still change their clocks twice a year. But scientists have called for an end to the practice, saying it causes disruption to circadian rhythms. And of course, disrupted sleep is associated with many health problems, from stress to strokes.

At this point, it's being argued that the practice is doing more harm than good.

The tide is turning towards abolishing daylight saving time:

I'm only concerned for the mental health of all those clock makers and clock salespeople who'll now have to move the clock hands of hundreds of clocks in their shops...
