- Fringe politics as a strategy
- Vigilantism, violent extremism and terrorism
- Communism, anarchism, libertarianism, etc
- Political correctness and fringe reactions to it
- Emerging political figures of the fringe
- Religious fundamentalism as a political tool
- Anti-elitism, anti-intellectualism and anti-science sentiments
- Direct democracy: dangerous or potentially useful?
