Do you think Trump will remain a major influence in U.S. politics after 1/20/21 at noon?

I'd say Trump will not be a major influence even in the Republican party. The party will move on. Which will be a good thing because it is time to focus on the midterms.

Of course Trump is going to make attempts to stay relevant, and keep believing that he is. As a regular citizen once again, he will not be allowed to play politics on a global scale of course, though he can certainly be received as a dignitary. He just legally won't have any say with regard to U.S. policy, and can't try to make any backroom deals with foreign governments. In fact, this may be what gets him in trouble in the future. I don't doubt in his warped mind he'll believe himself to still be above the rules, norms, laws and acceptable behavior. But not any more.

I say his cult will go back to playing army men and drinking beer in the woods within 1 month of that date.

Of course all of the above could just be my wishful thinking, and I know because I'm wishing it too. And my wishes seldom come true.

What say you?

When even Fox "News" stops carrying your crap anymore, you must know you're done.

Starting/acquiring a news organization seems to be a popular guess - but even a successful outlet wont give him the same reach and influence that Twitter does for free.

Besides, if he wants to leave the door open for politics, he'll have to make up and play nice with fox news.

Its doubtful he'll go quiet and disappear. I think he'll go on tour, play the classics, maybe write a few more. Could be a book tour, or some kind of super-pacish fund/foundation, until a next move is decided on.

A lot of this depends on Biden - does he ignore him completely, or get suckered into commenting on everything Trump says?

I'm guessing Biden would have plenty of useful proxies to do the talking on his behalf, while himself staying classy.

"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
