Vlad's most useful idiot
19/12/20 20:29Let this sink in:
Russian government hackers are behind a broad espionage campaign that has compromised U.S. agencies, including Treasury and Commerce
and
Pompeo Says Russia Was Behind Cyberattack on U.S.
Can we expect that Trump finally retaliate? Or he will keep playing like nothing has happened? Is Trump protecting Putin's gang Ozero/KGB, or afraid of Muscovites?
The dacha cooperative Ozero was founded in 1996 by Vladimir Smirnov (head), Vladimir Putin, and some other guys who had a series of secret meetings in their dachas (villas) around St.Petersburg, near Lake Komsomolskoye (hence the name of the group Ozero, meaning lake). But it was nothing like those ridiculous adventures from the Peculiarities of the Russian Fishing and Hunting movies. Although there probably was vodka, and lots of it.
Putin returned from his KGB assignment in East Germany in 1990, before the Ozero cooperative was established, and he acquired property at the banks of Lake Komsomolskoye. His dacha was burned down in 1996, but he rebuilt it later that ear. Others from the group bought more land around this area and built a number of villas close to each other to eventually form a gated community. A bank account linked to this cooperative association was opened, allowing money to be deposited and used by all account holders as usually happens in such cooperatives.
By 2012 members of the Ozero cooperative had already assumed top positions in the Russian government and business world, and became very successful and influential.
Now the group is being linked with a large-scale espionage program that has seen a number of US institutions breached and compromised, which has personally been acknowledged by the US Secretary of State.
The president's reaction? None. Zilch. Nada. And he'll keep his mouth zipped about it, unless of course he somehow manages to find a way to tie this to the alleged "rigged election", which no one, even from his own party, truly believes in.
This begs the question, what does KGB/Putin have on Trump? It must be something beyond the pee-pee tape in Moscow. Something bigger. He's been so slimey and coy when it comes to the Moscow thugs.
I also expect Mike Pompeo to be "resigning" shortly to "spend more time with his family". In the four years he has been president, Trump has never had a single critical word for Russia or Putin. Further, he does not tolerate anyone in his presence to say anything critical of Putin. He immediately will either defend or deflect anything.
In a more just world, Putin's best useful idiot ever would be investigated on day one after he has ceased being president. But we do not live in that world, do we?
