Date: 17/10/20 06:46 (UTC)I have firsts of all the City Watch books. (I have all Sir Terry in first editions from Guards Guards onwards - the older ones are pretty rare and expensive; well upwards of £3k in decent nick for the first three.)
You would have though that the Beeb - able to translate Wodehouse or Austen onto the screen reasonably well - wouldn't have made a complete horlicks of the Watch books.
I'd rather watch Disney's take on the Marvel stories, and I'm not much of a superhero/villain fan.
Shame. I'd love to have seen Ankh Morpork onscreen if done well.
