Christians... Can we talk? How does your support for Drumpf square with the teachings of Christ? Or how does the Bible support you if you don’t Back him?

"He shamefully took out a full-page ad in all of the New York dailies asking for a restoration of the death penalty for two 14-year-old, two 15-year-old, and one 16-year-old innocent children. While New York State laws would not have permitted their execution, just the fact that there was a rush to judgment ought to be complete evidence of how temperamentally unsuited he is for the off ice he now seeks."

Ken Burns to Evangelical Voters: 'What Part of Donald Trump Reminds You of Jesus Christ?'

The "Christians" comparing this man to Jesus Christ have either serious delusions about their faith or of who Trump is, ignorance/lack of caring that he clearly acts against their teachings in a multitude of ways, or are those who claim 'they are Christian and go to church' yet ignore the real teachings of Jesus Christ, especially when it conflicts with their political opinions, and still exhibit grossly intolerant views, some even quoting old Bible verses to defend it, OR is a mix of all of that - and it is disgusting and disheartening.

They're NOT Christians... whatever they want to call themselves. They ignore all the rules for being Christian. There isn't a Commandment they or their leaders haven't broken into tiny shreds.

There isn't a teaching of Jesus that they haven't perverted. Love thy neighbor? Yeah, no... they hate their neighbors. Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's... that's called taxation, they call it theft, turn the other cheek... to hell with that, nuke the bastards.

Look at the Christian values:

Love of God and neighbors
Fidelity in marriage
Renunciation of worldly goods
Renunciation of vengeance
Forgiveness of sins
Unconditional love

Trump defines the absolute refutation of those values... and these arses love him.

Yeah, they're NOT Christians.

If they get 1/10th of what they want, they can rationalize the rest away. Same with tхe rest of the GOP.

This bullshit just drives me up a wall! I mean, how can you possibly be a good Christian and do some of the things that #45 has done? I'm no longer a regular churchgoer due to travel limitations, but the church that I was raised in back in Pennsylvania--and the one here in the Chicago area--are both very open-minded. At least at the time I lived in Pennsylvania, that church was very open-minded. I've since heard rumblings though that they aren't the church I once knew. The one I attend here is very open-minded and accepting of everyone, regardless of political views. That said, even the Republicans who attend this church have broken away from their party. I know this because I've talked with some of them.

You’re accusing the religious of being illogical?

That barrel is very small, and very full of fish ;)

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
