The latitude of Helsinki Finland is 60° north and the center of the country where the forests exist is 64° north.
The latitude of San Francisco California is 37° north at the middle of the state.
This 27° difference has a tremendous effect on humidity and rainfall, as well as temperature. Finland is very close to the Arctic Circle, California is closer to the equator, and an arid desert State for the most part.
Obviously, raking has virtually nothing to do with fire prevention.
Yet, this piece of shit that the most powerful, most influential country in the world has for president, the country that's supposed to be spreading knowledge and be the flag-bearer of scientific and technological modernity, is getting applauded by millions even after uttering this sort of garbage.
We're in trouble. All of us.
