Viral Article Claims CERN Is About To Make Contact With A Parallel Universe

But yeah. Joke aside, 2020 has probably been the year with the greatest concentration of pseudoscientific woo in living memory. Ya know, global pandemics tend to bring stuff like that. Also, crazy-ass celebs touting their stupidity as if it were a virtue, and let's not forget asshole presidents who normalize disinformation and make crazy stuff mainstream for their own benefit - or actually any other schmuck with an Internet access at their mom's basement who has had sufficient neuron activity between their sole two brain cells to realize that the cost of making misleading or outright false claims is minimal to none.
You'd think in our age of instantaneous and complete information, people would be more informed, rational, open-minded and... Oh for fuck's sake. Who am I fooling? Being open-minded can go both ways. It could go so far the other way that you'd have your skull cracked open from too much openness, your brains sticking out in the wind, and all kinds of crazy stuff getting in. Don't believe me? Still unconvinced? Well, do bear with me then.
Here's my pseudoscientific review of this weird, weeeeird year 2020.
( The list could go really long, but here is just a sense )
