Poor old Jules has missed yet another opportunity to escape the confines of his self-imposed incarceration:

Looking at the journalist's take on this it appears that Julian's moonlight Christmas Eve flit was called off at the last moment because it was deemed too risky.

Right at the moment Julian still has a friend in the White House. I'd opine, if he were a really sensible lad, that he'd walk out of the Embassy, give himself up, be extradited to the US and hope that Trump is still in office when he gets there. In reality I'd say he should have walked out of the door the minute Trump took his oath of office. He may still get into that critical window if he hurries.
