Well...I don't currently own an iOS device but that's about to change. However, my Mac might be a different story. Specifically, the Internet has been very good to me and I can honestly say I don't know what I'd do without it. Same with email. Actually my entire Mac has been an integral part of my life since the end of 2013. To add to that, I am the only advanced screen reader user in the area. I have a sister who also has a MacBook and uses Apple's built-in screen reader, but she hasn't had near the amount of computer experience as her brothers. Her other brother lives and works in a different state. As a matter of fact, I've been tossing around the idea for some time about doing some kind of presentation about screen readers. What form this will take I'm not sure yet, but to cut a long story short there seems to be a need around here for this type of thing. Some people have told me that since there are people who don't use this technology, no presentation is needed. But having used this stuff for as long as I have--and since people have asked me briefly about it--I think this is something I could and should do.
