In NJ per pupil cost for public school is almost $10,000 more than the Finns and routinely deliver much, much less.

State educated pupils in NJ cost $20k per head p.a.?

Gods almighty: why aren't you guys 1st in the tables? Because that spend is monumental. That's about a day-pupil's fees at a private school over here. at We spend approx £3.8-£4.5K per pupil per annum in the state system.
