I think I'd rather hear folk laughing, however creepy or vulgar, than the opposite. Mind you any time I hear Ramsay Bolton laugh I want to throw up, but I guess that's a Pavlovian response.

One of the few times I was ever persuaded to watch "Friends" there was an actress in it with the most absurd laugh I have ever heard. I wish I'd got it recorded because it definitely goes into the category of strange sounds that inspire humour in and of themselves. No idea who she was but I have always assumed her to be portraying a lady of a certain kind from Brooklyn with a laugh like a drain. Or maybe an exploding train. The next episode didn't seem to feature her so I didn't bother watching further.

Knowing smirks can be irritating if you're on the receiving end; but that's all of us from time to time.
