Gotta love the Donald when he's on this sort of form. And he hasn't even taken office yet. Oh bliss.
What joy it will be to be alive on the day the Donald takes office. How amazing it will be to be alive a year and a day after.
Edit for request for analysis...
OK. The Donald has made his first foreign policy move before he has even taken office. This is quite brilliant, and really gives meaning to the term "Lame Duck President", which Obama now is in the biggest way imaginable. Of course it has ruffled a few feathers, but those guys on mainland China, they know all about saving face, don't they? And they won't take it personally, will they? And changing almost four decades of foriegn policy (since Nixon IIRC) with an offhand phone call isn't something the Prez should have to worry about, after all, he's the Prez, or almost is.
The presumption of Trump as "almost POTUS" is already really quite an edifying spectacle... maybe of the very best that Late Western Capitalism has to offer under the current system as it transitions towards more polarised antagonists. The time has come for me to side with the Commies, damn it, if the alternative is Fascism. But maybe that's too 1930's of me.
