What's with all these authoritarians and their obsession with Sorosoid/Illuminati conspirators (depending on the country they're targeting) trying to bring them down by all weird means possible? The weirder the means, the more evil the conspiracy.

'One-dollar bill' mystery solved: Banknotes believed by police to be sent from US using serial number letters as code

Many detained Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) suspects' U.S. dollar bills have been added to evidence by Turkish police as it is believed by security sources that the serial-number letters on the banknotes are used as code within the organization. Several suspects had banknotes starting with "F". ... It is claimed that military personnel had these banknotes to show their membership of the organization.

WTF, Turkey?

Why illustrate with the reverse? The Federal Reserve Seal, which indicates where the bill was issued ("F" = Atlanta), is on the obverse.

Anyway, not to take the side of the new Sultan and his various eunuchs, but US currency is coded so you can tell where and when it was printed, even where on the sheet of paper the bill was positioned. So, if you find a sufficient number of people all carrying dollar bills printed at the same place at the same time and maybe from the same sheet of paper, then you can assume those bills all came from the same mint issued pack and were given out by the same person. The chances of those people just randomly all having dollar bills with the same provenance is vanishingly small. Two members of the coup who don't know each other could find out pretty quickly if they could trust each other by examining the bills. (Kind of like the enchanted coins Harry Potter uses to organize Dumbledore's Army. /nerd)

Whether this is true, or whether it even matters to the Turkish government at this stage, is an entirely different matter. Purges gotta purge.

why not?

Because it doesn't actually illustrate anything that the article is discussing? I don't think you have to read very far at all into anything to see that.

I checked my wallet. 'B' and 'D'. I'm safe from the Turkish government's vivid imagination.

For now.

"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
