You might think the U.S. is the most obese nation in the world - but if you do, you are wrong.

How fat is YOUR country?

- The Pacific Islands, east of Australia, top the list of countries with the highest percentage of their populations obese.
- Experts have blamed the soaring obesity rates on nations colonising the islands and introducing Western diets.
- British, American and French colonisers tried to 'civilise' the nations' eating habits after the Second World War.
- Their fishing and farming industries died out and the countries became reliant on foreign imports like rice and sugar.
- Scale shows epidemic of fatness, with high levels of obesity across most of Europe, the Middle East and the U.S.

The UK as of late seems to have an awful lot of overweight young people, I've noticed on a few trips there recently. I don't know if it's because of poor diet or the dependence on motorized transport. Practically 4 out of 5 people under 25 seem way chubby.

I've been watching colleagues and friends of mine constantly keeping all sorts of diets, and still complaining they're not losing weight. In the meantime, I never stop being in motion: biking, walking, running, playing tennis, etc. And I eat almost everything. I've never kept a diet. I've just stopped soda and chips. Nothing else. And I move a lot. That's the key to everything. It doesn't matter so much how many calories you consume, what matters is how many you burn, and how.

What you eat still matters. What also matters is how you eat it (http://www.precisionnutrition.com/all-about-slow-eating).
