Evidently Hillary was just prophetic, but then again, it was a pretty easy call...

Apparently, Al-Shabab, an Al Qaeda affiliate in Somalia, has used a statement of Donald Trump as ammo to make a point, and concoct a recruitment video for their new hordes of mindless human drones. Coming from a politician who actually relies on people behaving like a horde of mindless drones in front of the poll boxes, and submitting to the call of their amygdala rather than their frontal cortex, the irony in this awkward symbiotic relationship between two supposed opposites, is truly mind-boggling.

Of course, this is exactly what was always going to happen from the moment Trump let that vomit roll through his mouth. It's no secret that the various jihadist groups want Islamophobia to reign over hearts and minds in the West, because that would conveniently give validity to all the crap these groups have been saying about the West... And lo and behold, various populist junkheads in the West are only too happy to oblige - starting with the most populist of them all.

If there's one thing we ought to be terrified (terrorized?) about, it's the Teapublican lineup.

So happy new year, everybody! I expect it to be very... ehm, "interesting".

Trump, being featured in a terrorist recruitment video? Any GOP candidate's speech can provide ample material for a terrorist recruitment video.

Yeah, like this is going to affect the Trump base in any way whatsoever.

Aye. The Trump base is like any other populist base: when they say they like him because "he speaks his mind", that directly translates to "he speaks my mind". It's not that he's any more honest, it's that he's less nuanced, and has won the allegiance of a base that is less nuanced in their thinking - and tired of being ignored and/or mocked or shunned for it.

Yea: Trump's popularity is a direct result scaremongering and elitism in BOTH parties. He reaps what we sow.

I'm sure this recruitment vid was a plot by the Clinton campaign aiming to discredit Trump. Or something.

In Internet terms, they're trolling each other magnificently.

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
