You may think that the literature on the topic is hooey, but those who put the work and effort into it have more compassion and concern for those who suffer than an entire army of psychiatric professionals. Conclusion: you are as familiar with the reality of psychiatric charlatanry as your icon kitty is familiar with the source of its iconic cat food.
