I'm not sure we are on the same page, because this clearly is not a response to anything I typed. The bills I'm speaking about are not budget bills. A bill to fund the VA, DC, and the NPS was voted on last Tuesday. There was no demanded concessions, it was just a bill to restore funding to those three areas. In the shadow of an Obama veto threat, Dems voted against it and it didn't passed. Why do you suppose they did that?
