Rémi Gaillard is a famous French humorist who has gone viral on Youtube throughout the years with his many hit'n'run pranks that he has played in various public places. He became prominent after he documented himself in the role of a party-crasher during the celebrations of his fave team Lorient when they won the soccer Cup of France in 2002 (he was even greeted by president Chirac during the trophy ceremony).

He's become famous for his outrageous style of behavior, challenging public norms and getting into trouble more often than he could count, and that has earned him an enormous fan base (close to one and a half billion views on all his videos on the web).

I always wonder how often he has been arrested, and if by now the police just say: "Oh no, it's Rémi again."

I ask because it sounds an awful lot like a French metal band whose name escaped me when I first heard it decades ago. I guess AC/DC covered at least one of their melodies (inserting English lyrics, of course), if that's a clue.

It's a song from 1980. The title is "Antisocial" and the band is Trust.

Yep, I'll bet that's the band. Their live album was in a discount bin at the store untouched. A friend who had grown up in Europe went apeshit, grabbed it and turned me one. I forgot over the years.

Thanks!

"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
