Welfare immigration is a big problem, and I can attest that my country has been among the main sources of that. There's a whole segment of immigrants whose sole purpose is to suck on some other government's teet, admittedly. Simply because our government's teet has run kind of dry.
Those people aren't necessarily Muslim. Although a disproportionately large share of them are indeed Roma (many of whom are Muslim). But that has its deeper reasons too, and they have nothing to do with their religious affiliations, and everything to do with their social and economic status in their country of origin. Be they Romanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Hungarian, or otherwise.
Probably that's why I'm still struggling to find a proper explanation for me why "bad immigrant" is being equated to "Muslim" in Britain. But that's mostly a cultural comprehension problem of mine, and not anybody else's fault.
Ps. Glad you didn't decide to "stop here" like you said a couple of comments above. ;-) I've been reading stuff around your media, but that cannot compare to having some insights from an actual Briton.
