You forgot it was today, didn't you? Fortunately the Weather Channel provided an Accuweather Forecast for the Hell on Earth to come:

Anything to confess as we face our final moments?

I saw Gymkata in the theater.

I had a mullet in the 80's(no, I won't share photos of my Billy Ray Cyrus-like hair).

I've frequently considered faking my death to avoid having to send Christmas cards every year.

Your turn.

Forgot? I did not (http://talk-politics.livejournal.com/1630600.html)!

What, no Christmas cards? Death/Hogfather won't be happy!

I get to keep my confessions private, because I already survived.

Solstice happened nearly an hour ago, here, and the world appears unchanged.

Once in Band camp, I hated this sax player so much I soaked his reeds in Tobasco sauce.

Yes, I'm afraid that you are. Coal causes global warming, and coal mining is environmentally damaging. I mean sure, it supplies a lot of electricity and provides jobs in the mining industry and the railroads. But we have to think about the world we leave our children. And our siblings' children.

Well the soundtrack to Xanadu is good. Too bad it pretty much killed Michael Beck's career.

Michael Beck was quoted as saying "The Warriors opened up a lot of doors for me in Hollywood, and Xanadu closed them"

Ain't nothing wrong with that. "All over the world" by ELO is one of my favorite songs ;) Plus Gene Kelly? Win-win! (http://youtu.be/gdPJ9BtqK7w)

I'll admit that when I'm not listening to classic-rock or metal or whatever else... I'll sometimes pop on some old Olivia Newton John stuff.

Xanadu is a fun film, too.

I was mad at David Bowie when he turned to disco, forgave him when he started working with Eno.

When ST:OS first came out, I preferred McHale's Navy this quickly changed.

I am developing an addiction to pozole. It sticks to your ribs, it is delicious and I love the little place I get it at.

I lurk here and rarely even make any sort of comment. Except this kind.

The world shouldn't end because : pozole, coffee and well, art and I haven't seen the last Fringe of the 4th season yet, and I haven't finished watching the Wire.

I just discovered it...I missed a long life without pozole! I love food that sticks to your ribs--risotto, oatmeal, pozole...

This pozole will keep you cozy and filled up from lunch to dinner...I am sincerely hoping to get some on Sunday!

I think Temple of Doom edges out Last Crusade in quality. Not by a lot, but it does.

I have one Nickelback song on my iphone. One, and only one.

I think John Carter is, no irony here, actually a good film.

"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
