There was a GOP senator (can't remember which one) on the radio here this morning and he said that Obama's "appeal to minorities" was divisive and bad for the country. I thought, "well if you guys hadn't completely isolated those minorities, like women ;), then it wouldn't have worked".

Seriously, old white men have got to stop pretending like they know peoples' issues better than they do. I'm not saying they can't have opinions and legislate on matters not immediately pertinent to them, but doing so with apparently no consultation is turning people off them.
