Putin's repressive policy stemming from the past Soviet traditions is successful. Whatever would create a resistance to the corrupt authority destroys. The Russians only dream about the situation of promoting collapse of the authoritarian regime.

What do they dream about?

That falling oil prices will cause the reactionary regime to the ground. That the Americans will choose Romney who doesn’t allow the criminal Putin’s friends to have foreign real estate and accounts in western banks.

The Russian authority is criminal. There are innocent people’s lives attributed to their account. Imagine only what is an actual number of victims if even the well-known cases hadn’t yet brought to fair resolutions. The murder of the lawyer Sergei Magnitsky in jail is one of the high-profile cases where not only the killers punished but even they effectively assert their rights on criminal lifestyle at the international level. The details.

The man who discovered the enormous theft from the state budget was killed exactly for this reason. The officials fails to conduct investigation and neither punish the guilty nor achieve the return of theft but persecutes the victims. They have Sergei’s mother and his widow as the witnesses!

With full confidence if Sergei’s co-workers would not be Americans but also the true friend pushing justice, trying to restore the evidence of the crime then no one would have known what had happened there. Egregious crime's cases in Russia constantly emerge and go into oblivion. The Russian society is not able to protect themselves.

I hope it is clear who was involved in the crime should be removed from office and punished but not searching for their right’s protection at the international level, such as the right to visit America. Russian officials have a tendency to keep their savings in western banks and have property abroad. With no justice at home, the Russians are hoping if only for justice where it exists.

The first time I doubted supporting Obama in the last election, when he was no defender of justice in this case but his rival McCain. It just shocked me. How is it possible to cooperate with the Russian criminal officials? What are the Obama administration's reasons to defend the proposal not to announce the Magnitsky list? What kind of business can be with who are offenders? If we neglect the moral standards for the citizens of a foreign country, it is no guarantee that this will not happen in our own?

And now we see the hiding essentially of the Benghazi's events in favor of presidential race's dubious win.

And now I'm starting to wonder my son-Marine protects abroad whose interests? Is it possible the situation to apologize for his service in the style of the president's excuses for the freedom of speech in their own country?

In my opinion, the Obama administration does not understand that making concessions under Putin's pressure will not strengthen the bond of friendship. This is a demonstration of false politeness. It only can be assessed by the modern Russian authority like the indication of provocative weakness. Putin is not looking for friends.

All the more so you should not make a deal when morality is trampled. Support for immorality in a foreign country destroys deeply our own also. What example of Libya with the sad process teaches to us all? And if one source of the Libyan evil is unjustified cooperation between the West and Gaddafi, who most probably personally gave the order about Lockerbie?

I'm not sure how considering Russia an enemy of the US, much less 'the #1 geopolitical enemy', would help your cause of ousting Putin. If anything, it would add support for him because he can drum up fear using our anti-Russian sentiments.

Putin is not Russia. Putin is the regime. You cannot worry helping Russian of ousting Putin. It’s better to think about own country.
