No one should go through life without having to weather an Irishman's rant. It's good for your soul. So I present to you the President of Ireland tongue-lashing a radio-jock about America, the Tea Party, health-care, and foreign policy. The accent makes it better.

Top O Tha Marnin' To Ya.

Nautical miles? Scots miles, Irish miles, Roman miles, or Arabic miles? Or metric miles? LOL, METRIC MILES!

Get a calculator and take a seat... we might need an hour. (American hour? British hour? Mayan hour? Sumerian hour? OOOH MYYY).

LOL that was amazing. The 'host' had no chance against someone with 'old school' experience.

that quaint 20th century phrase 'pwn3d' comes to mind.

I like how the other is constantly trying to interrupt him and he just rolls on over him, not having it for a second.

That's because these are the highlights, not the full interview. It's not one continuous speech.

I really, really, really wish our House and Senate could find the spine to institute Question Time to the President. That would weed out the weak-assed candidates.

Fitting that the face of Ireland looks and sounds like a leprechaun.

“The salient fact of American politics is that there are fifty to seventy million voters each of who will volunteer to live, with his family, in a cardboard box under an overpass, and cook sparrows on an old curtain rod, if someone would only guarantee that the black, gay, Hispanic, liberal, whatever, in the next box over doesn’t even have a curtain rod, or a sparrow to put on it.” - Davis X. I am, but only if you consider income :D

(in the good years, when the upper middle class had money, they "trickled it down" to people like me who provided a service. Now, with less money, I mostly repair instead of replace, I make half what I used to. Fortunately, while not being exceptionally smart (I was a roofer after all) I had enough wisdome to become debt free, and own my house. At any rate, that's how trickle down worked for me :D)

And how exactly did they trickle it down?

I thought the job creators and the middle class were two different things. I'm confused.

I'm middle class and I am a job creator.

Discretionary income works at all levels. I have never understood the ridicule "trickle down" gets; for the most part, if you think about it, that's what the economy is all about. You have something I want, I give you money for it, money I received from someone who wanted something I had and so on.
