There are biggest protest actions in Russia since 1917.
I checked american newspapers. There are a lot of information about Putin's inauguration, but only few about disorders.
Is it really not interesting for americans, or american media support Putin's way to speak with nation?
p.s. Today Obama has congratulated Putin...

Date: 9/5/12 19:40 (UTC)Of course, there are a lot of things going on in the world that are troubling, it's hard to take it all in sometimes that no matter what, at some point somewhere something very unhappy is going on. There's nothing you can do about it either.
I mean what am I going to do? It used to be something that was on my mind when I was clinically depressed, and it still comes up from time to time, that there is always injustice in the world. Somewhere someone is starving, or being tortured, raped, killed, you name it. Sorry this is the final edit.

Date: 10/5/12 00:24 (UTC)If 10K people showed up, at least 5K of them were there to put clips on YouTube of the other half doing things to provoke the riot police. That's what it looked like to me -- a bunch of vultures descending on circles of billy clubs.
We're interested, it just takes too much 'splaining to make a soundbite.
