Hmm I appreciated that article--and I would essentially agree that it illustrates the dominant trend of U.S. journalism right now. It could probably be combined with the the disturbing amount of media attention devoted to the inane lives and hookups and breakdowns of famous celebrities. And then combine that with the low quality of much of the "alternative media" on the internet and you have a serious journalism problem.

That said I still prefer my alternative media/world news. I can do the critical evaluation myself without so much obvious propaganda bullshit.
