He gets a double whammy with this move - pushing "state's rights" and the conservative battle against abortion. It's not that he hates women; they are just collateral damage in his efforts to rehabilitate his image after a disastrous presidential bid. There's nothing like another frivolous lawsuit to prop up one's standing with pro-lifers.
