Sorry, I wasn't talking about automobiles, actually. I was using the well-known brands to make a comparison between the qualities of labor. The US has high-productivity, well-trained labor, making us a high-end labor good (like Mercedes is a high-end good) and allowing us to charge more for it. China has cheap, less high-quality labor, making them the Geo Metro, which is obviously cheaper than an SL-500.
