Every morning I get out of bed with my right foot first, then I take 4 gulps of water from a glass that stays on my left side, and I brush my teeth after squeezing exactly 3 drops of toothpaste on my toothbrush. Then I jump 3 times on my left foot and 2 times on the right while spitting 5 times over my right shoulder into southern direction (eastern, if there has been full moon the previous night), and...

I don't have any issues with Friday the 13th, although I am obsessed with certain dates meaning something. That's more with dates that have had personal meaning to me (eg. Friday the 2nd, especially in November, because I had a mental crisis twice on that date) rather than societal meaning.

I dearly love black cats, and sorely miss the friendly, vocal stray we fed for a couple years, whom we called Creepy (because you'd be standing on the porch, no cat in sight, you'd look around at something, unexpectedly hear a "meow!," look down and she'd be there rubbing your leg, as if she appeared out of nowhere. "That's creepy!" said my sister.)

We have a fave stray kitty regularly circling around our office at the seaside, we call her Ako-Pisho (Poopy-Pissy). She's the whiniest sneakiest little devil I've seen.

This little friend was rescued from 4-5 dogs by me and a colleague of mine, they were tearing her apart on the street - literally. Then she climbed on a tree and didn't get off for a whole day.

Yes. Plenty of them. For example, I refuse to have sex with a porcupine.

Not superstitions or rituals per-se but I certainly retain several traits and habits from my time in the military and working as a paramedic and life-guard.

For instance, I don't sit with my back to a doorway or window if I can avoid it.

I tend to sleep fast and wake fast.

I feel naked if i'm not carrying a pocket knife and flashlight.

I "pre-flight" my car (always do a walk-around before getting in)

I was never in the military, unless it was a past life, but I never sit with my back to a window or door, and if I must, the window is covered and the door is locked. I also carry at least one knife (normally a pocket knife and my Ka-Bar). I also "pre-flight", my vehicle before going anywhere.

Not really no.


Do you have some daily rituals?
Yes, I shower, take care of bodily hygiene... Make sure I have enough smokes for the day ahead. On certain days, I put on my boots and go to work. On any day I carry my pistol, I commune with my spirit guides, and the god I am attuned to, so that I may ask that while I carry a pistol, I need not use it.


Some taboos that you dare not step over?
Yeah, I never purposely injure an animal without good reason.
