Wait, where are these 'number of women's issues'? And even if there had been, why is that always so threatening to you? There are many women on this forum and maybe we would at times like to discuss issues that are of extreme importance to some of us. Many men participate in these discussions too. I count 18 posts on the front page that have nothing at all to do with women. You're hardly being deprived of things to talk about.

Sorry, but I'm sick of these baseless criticisms. We went through it months ago and it made a lot of women, myself included wary of posting issues of importance to us. This should be a place where we feel included, not as an annoyance.

The video mocks the shit out of guys' eating habits. I would hardly call this any kind of assault on women. You might want to look in a mirror and tell me who is being hypersensitive and unjustifiably threatened.

BTW, last time I checked, politics wasn't the exclusive domain™ of men. The topics are pretty much universal for a political forum. I've always said this was a diverse crowd, and it is. It looks like diversity means only what is important to you.

I'm not talking about the video at all, and I'm certainly not calling it an assault on women. I'm referring specifically to your claim, a claim you've made before, that there are too many 'women's issues' around here. I could not care less what you post, or what anyone does. If I want to participate I will, if I don't I won't. I just ask the same for me or others even if you don't like the topics.

I was stating something that has also been said about OWS in both t_p_nonsense and talk_politics about the OWS protests. These issues are important on a general basis. When there is a flood of them, which talk_politics has had on both these subjects at one time or another in its history, I don't think it should be off limits to mention that.

Where is this flood? Two posts out of 20 having anything to do with women at all is not a flood. And my post was not even a women's issue but a discrimination issue.
