You nominated your books and voted for a general nonfiction title, so here we go:
[Poll #1801127]
It turns out that LJ limits the number of choices you can have now, and, to help facilitate a bit, I left out some of the repeat-idea ones (four books, for instances, were psychology/choice type titles, so I went with ones that were seconded) and I left off obvious textbooky ones, only because this should be more fun for people than a chore (no offense to those of you (like me) who enjoy a drier read from time to time). In the future, we'll find a better way to do nominations for books to narrow things down a little better, but this is a pretty diverse crop of stuff to try for the first go 'round.
Poll will close Friday morning.

Date: 6/12/11 15:46 (UTC)I think it's more of it being a result of kind of meeting both the great works and historical criteria. Considering where so many of our debates go here, it's practically required reading anyway.
