Crazy Conspiracy Month: Enviromentalists Secretly Hate Women, Gays, and Aborigines.

To me the choice is simple, we can prop up a cabal of brutal dictatorships that kill homosexuals, keep women as second class citizens, and don't care if they destroy the environment.

Or we can by our oil from Canada.

To be explicit, if you object to harvesting the Alberta oil sands you are an objectively misogynist, gay bashing, Gaia raping hypocrite.

;P

Your answer requires more birth control

Don't take such a gendered world view; vasectomies after your first child!

When the world is finite and can only support so many humans without infringing on habitats for wild creatures, then population towards a limited stable human population must be taken. Birth control isn't a chore. It's the only humane option at keeping a stable population.

In this aspect your rant seems absolutely ridiculous (boo hoo, women have more birth control options so it's usually a girl responsibility) Population controls are everyone's responsibly.

Vasectomy and tubal ligation are valid options at actually preventing population growth because of the permanency of the condition.

Condoms, the pill, IUD, etc are temporary birth control measures. They do not prevent population growth. They are inadequate because they are not permanent. Population growth can still happen with this birth control methods.

That isn't what I said. My point was that why are you crying for one species failing to adapt and not others? There are millions of species that died out before humans did anything, it's part of evolution. Regardless of whether climate change is due to us or not, it would happen on its own also, and they would die out then too, so why is it horrible right now? Nature is brutish and kills off species a lot more than humans have ever done. Sure we spend our efforts to save certain ones, for no particular reason or logic, but nature is not static, they wouldn't stay around forever even if we weren't here.

Eh, humans and all current large animals living today all go extinct and the planet will neither notice nor particularly be all that bothered by it. Planets are balls of rock or gas orbiting a giant fusion reactor, they don't notice a thing. Unfortunately a lot of people tend to conflate the extinction or disappearance of humans with the end of the planet. Humans are nowhere near that special.

Jesus did, and he may have healed them too.

You and science too, don't leave that out.
