Middle class, multi-culti left-wing pricks...
Exactly!
Both UK and US are suffering simply because their media is occupied with those blind mid-class idiots.
Friend of mine says there is another side of medal: FOXnews in the US, which is pro-right media, and having highest ratings among News channels...
Also, I think the common problem nowadays in all developed countries, that they're trying hard to keep their own identity (hello, Brits), at same time being over-flooded with immigrants of many nations.
Simply don't go too much Left promoting PCness and giving your pensions to illegal immigrants, and don't go too much Right closing borders(hi, Brits) and focusing on internal affairs and nationalism (becoming, in fact, blind to outer world)
the Truth is somewhere in the middle...
What do you think?

Keep on pretending...
But what is *really* interesting is that you read past an entire transcript of inflamatory rhethoric... to focus on whether this one video was as racist as anything else seen in the past...
and if you REALLY want to talk about the type of videos that really get people's ire up - here's one for you:
Go ahead and give me the transcript for this...
Re: Keep on pretending...
My original comment was about about how that one video raises an interesting point. You replied "Did you listen to the video at the top?"
And it's amusing because the guy said "...who are all too eager to curtail free speech and suppress inconvenient ideas by misrepresenting them as bigotry and racism".
And here you are doing as such.
There's a difference between being stubborn and being full of convictions. Learn the difference.
Re: Keep on pretending...
First, my original comment was not limited to just this one - but nice of you to pretend it was.
Second, my original comment was limited to *HOW* things were said (it's even the first sentence) with race being just one example.
As per usual you focus on *one* point and pretend that is the sum-total of what was said.
You do a WONDERFUL job of confusing a tree for the forest.... and willful misreading of what was said.
But anyone who can read past an entire transacript of inflamatory rhethoric, to argue it wasnt as racist as it could be, and *therefore* there is nothing to complain about.....
Well, that's just bad reasoning all the way around.
Re: Keep on pretending...
And I never said this video wasn't as racist as it could have been. There was no racism at all in the video.
You have a penchant for not understanding what you're listening to, reading, or being told. Have you been tested for a learning disability? Totally serious.
Re: Keep on pretending...
Luckily, I'm not the only one who recognizes your "reasoning" (and I use the word loosely where you're concerned).... lacks.
But then again between this, your history of revisionism, and your *profound* ability to read an article of rhethoric and say "I dont see anything in there"...
Seriously dude... were your parents related?
Re: Keep on pretending...
I've provided direct evidence in this thread of you not understanding what you're being told.
You've made grand and bold claims but failed to construct anything that could be considered a coherent argument.
Re: Keep on pretending...
Anyway, going through this (yet again) with you is pointless...

You really don't see how your perception is self-reinforcing? He didn't say anything hateful about anyone. He didn't say what Chessdev asserted he said and actually stated in much the way what Chessdev asserted would be a constructive way to broach the issue. He stated there are problems in the Islamic community with radicalism and that any attempt to deal with them is regarded as radical hate speech with comparisons to Nazism.
And here you are doing exactly what he said you'd do when he didn't say anything racist.
And you assert I'm the one wearing the blinders?

of what I meant as "constructive way to broach an issue"....
then you REALLY really have no idea of a few basic but important
concepts like:
TONE
CONNOTATION
RHETORIC
PROPAGANDA
You seem to basically do spell-checks and word counts to somehow go "He never SAID that" while ignoring that actually *yes* he did, although in a way that was apparently too subtle for you.
