Erin Pizzey tells her own story.

Ok, that is the link.
Me? I reckon she did the right thing.
I am not sure what benefit I might have gained from blowing up Biba, a store in london - but if her refuges had been there for my mother, it certainly would have helped.
I am suprised that some feminists still attack her - and no, I don't subscribe to Harriet Harman's view that men cannot contribute anything to the family.

But what's your take on Erin Pizzey, I wonder?

I'd say sneers and eye-rolling are the first signs that someone is threatened by an idea and desperate to hide it.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound? We're laughing because MRA groups are laughable. They have no base in reality, but by all means defend them, I could use some more lulz right about now, it looks like the Stanley Cup will not be coming home to Canada and I'm a little upset.

I'm not "defending them;" you're pretending that the original poster doesn't have a point by ignoring it and attacking the people. Have all the lulz you want; it doesn't seem to be about the substance here at all, does it? Pizzey is asserting that violence is a human problem, not a suitable redoubt from which to assail enemies of one's identity politics. I say she has a point, but by all means, let's make the question all about the people who agree with her and certainly not the substance of her ideas.

We're not ignoring it, several of us have asserted the reasons we do not agree with her position elsewhere. The MRA blog was just a little side-diversion for us to laugh over.

or c) I disagree with her as she is using an extreme fringe group (that it seems actually did not even carry out the bombing) to paint all of feminism as violent and angry.
