To show how wonderfully tolerant this place is of nonsense:

In my utopia breast augmentation surgery will be outlawed (save for procedures done for illness reasons) on two grounds:

1) It's a waste of valuable resources*
2) They look bad

Discuss.

*In my dream utopia, healthcare is not only "free" (well, Universal) it's also mandatory

Can't have the sick bring down the healthy

Your desire to impose your tastes and views regarding what's appropriate for women's bodies by force of law, especially assuming that you're a man, is about an order of magnitude more sexist than any image-peddling the magazine stands might be doing. This represents the sort of patronizing view of the citizenry that led progressives to join the KKK in the fight for prohibition in the early part of the century. I had hoped this was all tongue in cheek. If it's not, it's really nauseating.

"Men wouldn't be allowed breast augmentation surgery either."

No, and you wouldn't allow them to get abortions either, I suppose, right? You're focusing on procedures largely restricted to women, whether or not you allow men to participate, the fact of the matter is that you're most dramatically affecting women's behaviour based on your arbitrary views on attractiveness and resource allocations.
