Team Trump quietly launches new social media platform
GETTR will be the newest MAGA venture in this space. It’s being led by Trump’s former spokesman, Jason Miller.
That's actually kind of clever. Each of his posts had a direct link to Facebook or Twitter that automatically puts his post in quotes and links back to his blog. He's effectively crowdsourcing his message to maximize his reach and circumvent his bans.
That said, I can't wait for Twitter to ban that practice, and block any trumpy links. If the so-called Oversight Board also decides to perma-ban Trump, Fece-book should do it too.
And if you think he's irrelevant and gone, well, I hate to disappoint you... He is definitely not gone. The entire Republican party is behind him now and they are gong to strip Liz Cheney from her leadership roles in Congress because she voted against him for the insurrection impeachment.
