Introduction

I'm new here.  I was sent an invite, and I appreciate it.  I like this community's non-flaming, non-trolling all-parties attitude.  I have been avoiding posting on most of the political communities because, since I tend to be in both liberal and conservative, (and am thus libertarian) camps, I'll post to all of them if I have something to say.  Of course somebody somewhere will accuse me of trolling.

Anyway, I am a career soldier, now in the US Army reserve, and a lifelong Wiccan.  I am constitutionally conservative, and socially liberal.  Please drop by my LJ profile for more info.  Feel free to friend me as well if you like.  I have a fairly thick skin about most things and appreciate a good, reasoned argument where folks can disagree and not get their knickers in a twist about things.

Only if you assume that girls liking sex for it's own sake rather than using it as a to get what they want is a bad thing.

No. You were talking about girls as if they are prey. Easy =/= "girls liking sex for it's own sake".

No, you chose to interpret it that way.

Because girls liking sex for it's own sake *ARE* far easier to have sex with than those who only want to use it as a tool or those who have major hangups about it from their upbringing. You know, because you don't have to jump through hoops to show them that sex is ok, you just have to be compatible and get along and mutually attracted to each other.

There is no element of predator/prey relation implied in anything I said. In fact if anything my statement was far more of an insult to men as it furthers the stereotype that all men care about is getting into bed with as many women as possible

All that said I'll let you finish up this thread and bash me with all of your self conceived strawmen about what I *REALLY* meant because it is really not worth arguing over a flippant off hand joke with someone who clearly is more worried about pushing an agenda than having a sense of humor.

I suppose here is where I should note that while I am an athiest I am intimately familiar with the neopagan community having married 2 neopagan women and been nearly constantly associated with one neopagan group or another for the last 15 years and the origin of my statement is the common jokes from WITHIN the community about pagan girls being easy including one of my first wife's favorites...

I have to take your side on this one. We don't have the same taboos about sex, nudity, polyamory, and so on as the mainstream does. Thus, Pagan women can certainly be considered "easy".
