New WSJ/NBC News poll has some interesting figures

NBC News and the Wall Street Journal released some interesting poll figures today; and the results are a mixed bag of good news and bad news for the President and the Republican party. While voters are pretty fed up with Republican performance on health care, the GOP can take some solace that a very large majority of Democratic voters that are so fed up, they would vote anyone out, including their own Democratic candidates. President Obama can take great hope in how close the figures are action on the current bill(s) in Congress.

Do you approve or disapprove of Congress?

Do you approve how President Obama is handling health care?

Should Congress pass or not pass the current health care reform bill?

Approve or disapprove of how Republicans are handling health care?

Here's a video clip with Chuck Todd and Brian Williams:

The problem with polls that show the public doesn't want this bill is, it doesn't explain why. All the people who are against it because it is not single payer, get lumped into the same category as the folks who want the government to keep it's hands of their Medicare. Polling for a public option has been consistently in the majority. People want to be able to afford health care. Everything else is a distraction.
