What a turd

Impeachment v.2.0 has failed - and quite predictably.

So McConnell says Trump is morally accountable for the deadly US Capitol riot - and yet essentially votes that Trump is not guilty? What gives?

Also, McConnell uses the argument that impeaching Trump after he has stepped down from office is constitutionally problematic - and yet it was him who did his best to delay the impeachment procedure for a time after Trump had stepped down!?

What... the... actual... fuck...

You have to laugh I suppose.

The GOP are the Keystone Cops of evil stupidity.

I had a feeling this was going to happen. I hate being right.

Trying to please Democrats and Trump when both demand absolute loyalty and submission seems like a wasted effort. Mitch is a true politician though, he'll say whatever pleases the room he's in, and if it pisses off another room he can walk over and patch things up if needed.

Somehow I, too, had a nagging feeling this would happen and so did at least 2 of my neighbors. I called my mom to wish the fam a Happy Valentine's Day, and they feel the same way. We did so good by electing Kamala and Joe, and now this. I'm glad I'm not a politician! That's all I'm gonna say.
