If the system is designed to help men, we must remember that it does not help male children, nor does it offer men the same degree of help.

You only have to be black, or gay , and you find that your 'male priv' card is suddenly not worth the same as a straight white man's.

And if you happen to be a straight, white male like me, you will find that your card will get you preferential treatment over black guys, but that other men will still try to pick fights with you, accuse you of being gay as a pretext for attacking you, mug you for money or kicks, and mark you down for being different.

No - patriarchy is not a good system, I don't like it, and don't want it. I won't defend it or accept it, i want to see it destroyed.
