It is sad how often the victims of rape are blamed for their assault. I remember reading a case once where a victim was wearing tights jeans, so she couldn't possibly have been raped as the rapist wouldn't have been able to rip them off. Very disturbing.

Though, I would have to say it's not only in a conservative court, but almost all courts these days. :(
