Retired musician (played with folk of whom you will have heard); not yet (but almost) 50; small independent income; clever, beautiful (and pregnant) wife; enough money to send the little blighter(s) to Winchester, should it (and/or any subsequent ones) be a he; reasonable health (fingers crossed); very well connected socially; about to move to a bigger house. Not much, but some work in the back catalogue of which I'm not ashamed.

Of course it could all end tomorrow, but I rather hope it doesn't. Being an idle socialite rather suits me.
