"When I say beauty I mean elegance, grace, loevlyness"

This cuts to the heart of the matter, not everyone agrees with this definition of beauty. I would suggest that lelegance and grace come from that "inner rainbow" and I'm not sure what you mean by loveliness.

On the other hand I more or less get your point since in the 50s I was a red-headed, freckle-faced kid (who was also short and skinny). Going thru not even being close to "ideal" when one is young is not fun.

Bottom line is, society is superficial. Dealing with it either builds character or destroys it, your choice.
